Pet Friendly Agreement

Pets are part of our families. We understand that you like to bring them on holidays, so we're very happy to accommodate this when we can. The below Agreement outlines what you can expect of us, and what we expect of you when you bring your pets to Dalrose Retreat. Please contact us directly for any further queries or requests.

Dalrose Retreat is situated on a working beef farm. We are committed to protecting our livestock health and wellbeing, and our farm bio-security.

We thank our guests for respecting our livestock and property during their visit.

Guest Agreement

Your responsibilities

Pets must be fully trained and appropriately restrained by guests
Pets must comply with local legislation requirements
Pets must be vaccinated, clean and free of fleas
Pets must be kept on a leash when outside the retreat or on retreat property
Pets must not be left unattended
Pets are not allowed upstairs
If guest requires a pet-sitter or pet supplies, they should contact the us with advance notice
Dalrose Retreat is not responsible for any loss or damages of your dog
Pets are not allowed on furniture or guest beds at any time
Additional cleaning fees will apply
Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pet on the retreat property and in the neighbourhood
Any disturbances such as barking must be curtailed to ensure our neighbours are not inconvenienced
Guests are responsible for all property damages and/or personal injuries resulting from their pet
Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless the retreat, its owners and its operator from all liability and damage suffered as a result of the guest’s pet
Dalrose Retreat reserves the right to claim expenses from the guest commensurate to the cost of such damages and extra cleaning as a result of your pet

Our commitment

Dalrose Retreat accepts pets and welcomes pet-toting travelers with the same level of service and hospitality that would be offered to guests without pets.

Fees and charges

Any additional fees charged to guests traveling with pets reflect the extra cleaning costs or maintenance expenses Dalrose Retreat incurs for accepting pets. The fee does not represent a financial penalty to the pet owner for simply bringing an animal to the retreat.
